Sample Schedule

Below is a sample schedule for one week. Please note that this information is provided as a sample only, and that the actual food menus and your choice of activities may differ from the suggestions below. For instance, you might choose a ‘rustic’ menu one day, and a more sophisticated, ‘gastronomic’ option the next. Once we learn about your tastes and preferences, we will build a program especially for you, and it will be priced accordingly.


  •  5.00 p.m. Arrival of Guests, tour of the property and amenities, settle into rooms.
  •  6.00 p.m. Apéritif. Champagne (Bouy Millésime 2005) served at the pool (weather permitting).
  • 7.30 p.m. Dinner Served on the South Terrace


  • 1:00 p.m. Lunch in Vaison la Romaine
  • 3:00 p.m. Relaxation Time at the Villa.  Some people use this time to enjoy a siesta in their room; others enjoy time at the pool, a nap in the hammock, reading, sketching or painting at the chalet etc.
  • 5.00p.m. Walking Tour of the Medieval Village of Séguret
  • 6.30p.m. Balsamic Vinegar Tasting at the Villa.
  • 7.00p.m. Apéritifs served with Hors d’Oeuvres
  • 8.00 p.m. ‘Cheese Testing & Tasting Dinner’ at the Villa


  • 8:30 a.m. Vaison la Romaine Farmer’s Market
  • 12:00 a.m. Cooking Class
  • 1.00 p.m. Lunch at the Villa
  • 4.00 p.m. Hiking at les Dentelles de Montmirail – Experience the panoramic view from the summit or stay home and enjoy relaxation time.


  •  8.00 a.m.  Depart for All-Day Sight Seeing Excursion. Destination of Choice: Gordes, Roussillon, Avignon, Cassis, Arles (to be decided based on your interests)
  • 12.30 p.m.  Lunch  Enjoyed at a Restaurant en Route
  • 6.00 p.m.  Apéritifs Served with Hors d’Oeuvres at the Villa
  • 7.00 p.m.  Wine  Tasting at the Villa
  •  8.00 p.m. Dinner at the Villa


  • 8.00 a.m. For the Early Birds: Nyons Market (pays de l’huile d’olive)
  • 11.00 a.m.  Cooking Class
  • 1.00 p.m. Lunch
  •  3.00 p.m.  Sight Seeing: Visit Historic Town of Orange & Optional Shopping
  •  6.00 p.m. Apéritifs at the Fountain Square in Villedieu
  •  8.00 p.m. Either an Intimate Dinner in the Small Village of Faucon, or a Formal Dinner in a Michelin one star restaurant, Le Grand Pré à Roaix, which happens to be a short 3 minute drive from our Villa!


  •  10.00 a.m. Cooking Class
  •  12.00 p.m. Lunch at the Villa
  • 6.30 p.m.  Olive Oil Tasting & Tutorial at the Villa
  • 7.00 p.m.  Apéritifs Served with Hors d’Oeuvres
  • 8.00 p.m. Dinner at the Villa


  • 8.30 a.m. Cooking Class and Farewell Cooking Gifts
  • 12.00 p.m. Apéritifs Served with Hors d’Oeuvres 
  • 12.30 p.m.  Farewell Lunch at the Villa
  • 2.30 p.m.  Transfer to Avignon and Visit of the City.
